Job summary

Position Summary – Teacher’s Aide for Infants – Preschool Classrooms

The Goddard School® of Greenpoint, located at 85 Commercial Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher’s Aide to join our early childhood education team. Our School is a newly built, state-of-the-art, one-story, 10,000-square-foot learning environment designed with children and educators in mind. Compensation

$17-$20 per hour, based on education and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead and Assistant Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactions
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environment
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belonging
• Assist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activities
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment
• Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
