The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated Teacher’s Aide for the Day School. This full-time role supports classroom teams, therapists, and families to help students achieve educational goals.
Responsibilities include assisting with materials, daily prep, personal care, feeding, lifting, positioning, and toileting as needed. Prior experience with children is preferred; CPR/First Aid training may be provided.

Location:The Day School at The Children’s Institute, 1405 Shady Avenue, Squirrel Hill, PA 15217
Schedule:Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a full‑time position that follows a traditional 10‑month school year schedule.
The Day School is an approved private school licensed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Private Academic Schools and approved as a special education school by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Families and school districts alike have connected with our expert educational team to bring specialized education and related services, including autism support and multiple disabilities support, to nearly 200 students from 60+ school districts across western Pennsylvania each year.
TheTeacher’s Aideis responsible for assisting with the classroom team, behavioral specialists, occupational, speech, and physical therapists, school districts, and families to help our amazing students achieve their educational goals. Responsibilities include:
