Christian Crossroads Academy (CCA) is launching a classical Christian grammar program and seeks passionate Teachers’ Aids to join our founding team. This role supports certified teachers in kindergarten through 3rd grade in a Christ-centered, classical learning environment as we open Fall 2026.

Candidates should be eager to learn classical Christian philosophy and pedagogy, invest time and energy in shaping young minds, and partner with families to nurture faith-filled, rigorous academic growth.

Responsibilities

• Create an annual mapping for all courses of instruction
• Submit weekly lesson plans
• Consistently assess students for progress through approved means
• Study all material deeply to become a “living curriculum”
• Facilitate deep study of various subjects in the classroom
• Animate material to engage students
• Coach students in a tailored approach to education, helping them invest the talent God has given
• Enter grades within 48 hours for timely feedback
• Attend all designated faculty trainings
• Attend all designated faculty meetings
• Observe struggling students and make recommendations to the administration for suggested learning goals
• Foster a well‑ordered atmosphere through classroom discipleship
• Maintain a well‑organized classroom
• Ensure students are active learners both mentally and physically

This role involves supporting certified and licensed teachers in kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, or 3rd Grade. We are launching our classical Christian academy in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing young minds and hearts in a Christ-centered, classical learning environment. • Qualifies for Substitute Teacher in North Dakota. Interim Substitute License from the Education Standards and Practices Board (ESPB), requires a minimum of 48 semester hours of college coursework and a background check.

*The Classical Christian model moves the student from knowledge to understanding to wisdom. This is known as the “trivium” which involves the stages of learning known as grammar, logic, and rhetoric.

**The quadrivium complements the trivium by training students to understand God’s created order through number and proportion, encompassing arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy.
