The New York City Department of Education is seeking a Program Associate for the FutureReadyNYC initiative. This one-year position involves curriculum development and professional learning facilitation in healthcare and life sciences for middle and high schools. As per UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday Through Friday
School Year (September 5, 2025, through June 30, 2026) plus five additional days winter, spring or summer recess pursuant to UFT contract, to be determined by supervisor.
The hours of service of a teacher shall be thirty-seven and one-half hours per week exclusive of a daily thirty-minute lunch period. Flexibility for earlier start or later finish to the day with approval of supervisor. Requirement to work up to 30 per session days during summer vacation period, starting July 2025.
