Job Description

Cascade Christian Schools, a high-quality, independent, interdenominational school system, is accepting applications for a Part Day Lead 4/5's Teacher at our McAlder Elementary campus in Puyallup. Founded in 1992, Cascade Christian Schools serves students from infants through grade twelve, focusing on Christ-centered education. We are dedicated to developing discerning leaders who are spiritually, personally, and academically prepared to impact their world.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly lesson plans and parent letters aligned with the Center’s Student Learning Objectives and Curriculum Guide
• Maintaining a developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Promoting educational progression for students
• Developing activities tailored to group and individual needs
• Maintaining observation records on children

Minimum Requirements:

• AA or BA degree; CDA preferred
• Department of Early Learning 30 hours of basic STARS Training
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Valid TB Test
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills
• Good communication and support skills
• Availability for non-work hours activities (compensated)
• One to two years of early childhood education experience preferred

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45 am - 12:00 pm
