Job summary

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) invites applications for a Pre-K Counts Teacher at the Rydal Elementary School in Huntingdon Valley, PA. This full-time position serves children aged 3-5, following the Pre-K Counts program across Montgomery County classrooms.

The role requires PA Early Childhood PK-4 certification, an ability to differentiate instruction, and a strong commitment to family engagement.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required.
• Knowledge of best practices and experience with differentiation.
• Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work in harmony with administrative, instructional, and non-instructional personnel.
• Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required.

A Vacancy exists for a Pre-K Counts Teacher to work at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time position provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)

Salary

Bachelor's/Instructional I: $45,449/year

Master's/Instructional II: $48,509/year
