Salary and Benefits:
Estimate range $54,800 - $96,080 per year
Compensation will be determined based on experience and education level, in accordance with the Faculty Salary Scale.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a comprehensive, progressive Health & Wellness/Physical Education program aligned with best practices and national standards.Create engaging, differentiated lessons in physical education and health while fostering a supportive, inquiry-based classroom environment.Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.Work with other Wellness Department PS-grade 12 to plan and align Health and Wellness curriculum and instructionMaintain strong communication with families through updates, conferences, and meetings.Participate in faculty meetings, student support sessions, and community activities.Supervise students during recess, field trips (including overnights), and non-class times.Engage in ongoing professional development, including maintaining certifications and meeting training requirements.
Qualifications:
Required: BA/BS or equivalent four-year degree in educationPreferred: MA/MS in PE and/or Health Education, preferredAt least three years of teaching PE/Health at the early/elementary education level
