Teacher - Online Math - CCPS Online 2025-26

Join to apply for the Teacher - Online Math - CCPS Online 2025-26 role at Chesterfield County Public Schools.

This position involves providing instruction and support for online math courses, supporting digital content development, and assisting online teachers within the virtual school program. The role supports the PACE (online credit recovery) program and may include additional online teaching assignments as needed.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop digital content supporting the virtual school program and blended learning initiatives.
  • Support online teachers in using the learning management system.
  • Train staff in integrating online learning objects and digital content.
  • Promote effective curriculum models utilizing e-Learning and communication technologies.
  • Establish communication channels to meet program goals.
  • Demonstrate exemplary online teaching practices and instructional design.
  • Ensure instructional standards are met and supported.
  • Provide training in online learning systems and digital tools.
  • Teach virtual courses and online credit recovery as needed.
  • Assess student learning and modify instruction accordingly.
Qualifications

Must hold a valid Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Mathematics. Online teaching experience at the K-12 level is required, with secondary level virtual teaching experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of online learning methodologies, instructional design, and digital content development is essential.
