Qualifications

• Experience growing a 9–14 Early College High School with IT focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the ECS program, Perkins Grant, and all dual expansion pathways.
• Grow a 9–14 Early College High School culminating in high school diploma and A.A.S. in IT.
• Coordinate and support Perkins-funded pathways, including dual enrollment or career entry certifications.
• Collaborate with staff to develop and implement pathways and certifications.

General Statement: The Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for Career Pathways is responsible for coordinating the ECS program, Perkins Grant, and all additional dual expansion pathways. They are also tasked with growing a highly successful 9 – 14 Early College High School that aims to provide students with an educational experience culminating in earning both a high school diploma and an A.A.S. degree in an Information Technology field. Additionally, the TOSA for Career Pathways will coordinate and support the development and implementation of Perkins fundable pathways, including dual enrollment or career entry certifications.

CSDE Educator Certification Requirements: Candidates must hold or be eligible for certification by the time the position commences.
