Job summary

Alpine Learning Group in Paramus, NJ is seeking a full-time Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) to join a collaborative team dedicated to learners with autism. You’ll implement IEPs, develop academic and social skills, and provide ongoing instruction under NJ standards, with robust training and mentorship offered.

The ideal candidate holds NJDOE TOSD certification (and NJ Elementary School Teacher, grades K-6) and has experience with autism.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Standard Certificates as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) and NJ Elementary School Teacher (Grades K-6)
• Experience working with learners with autism (preferred)
• Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Clearances

• Compliance with Federal, State and NJDOE Personnel Code requirements, including but not limited to Mantoux TB test, Criminal History. Motor Vehicle Review, Citizenship Status

Schedule: Full Time position: Mondays 8:30 am – 4:00 pm; Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 am – 3:45 pm

Salary: Commensurate with credentials and experience
