GENERAL PURPOSE

Under the supervision of the Principal and/or other designated administrator, the Teacher develops and implements an instructional program that will effectively meet the needs of all students. The Teacher assesses and evaluates student performance and modifies instructional activities as appropriate.

Pay Grade: Teacher Salary Scale

Work Calendar: 10 month (200 Day)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Main Responsibilities:

• Support student learning by promoting positive interactions, encouraging self-motivation, and adapting instructional content to students' needs.
• Maintain organized, effective lesson plans and utilize diverse materials and teaching techniques.
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Complete reports accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for students.
