Teacher - Mathematics and Algebra 1, 8th Grade JobID: 22091
Northridge Local Schools is seeking a Seventh Grade Mathematics Teacher for our Middle School for the 25/26 School Year.
Valid Ohio teaching license issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
Certification in Middle Childhood Education (Grades 4–9) with a concentration in Mathematics, or
Certification in Adolescent to Young Adult (AYA) Mathematics (Grades 7–12).
Must be qualified to teach Algebra I at the middle school level.
Candidates must meet all ODE licensure requirements, including passing scores on relevant Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) exams.
Experience teaching Algebra I for high school credit in a middle school setting.
Strong understanding of Ohio’s Learning Standards for Mathematics.
Proven ability to differentiate instruction and use data to inform teaching.
Familiarity with PBIS, MTSS, or other student support frameworks.
Contract: 185 days
