Job summary

Putnam County Schools invites applications for a High School Math Teacher. The teacher will deliver a comprehensive mathematics program aligned with state law and district policies, serving grades 9–12.

The role requires WV Professional or Temporary Teaching Certification endorsed for mathematics, with 200 instructional days per year and a competitive benefits package including PEIA, retirement, life insurance, and vision and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Holds or qualifies for WV Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for mathematics (9-12).
• Experience delivering high school math curriculum is preferred.

Job Description: The High School Math Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive Math program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.

Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for comprehensive mathematics at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (9-12).

Length of Employment: 200 Days
