Maize offers a comprehensive support program for teachers new to the district and those entering the profession. All new teachers are paired with a qualified mentor, and both are supported by our team of Student Support Specialists and Instructional Coaches. Additionally, new teachers participate in eight half-day professional development sessions throughout the school year.
Our district encourages continuous learning and professional growth. We organize well-planned professional learning days that focus on relevant and timely topics. We also provide a professional learning series that offers college credits and tuition reimbursement for a Master’s degree.
Maize district features safe and well-maintained facilities. In partnership with the Maize Police Department, we have Resource Officers at many schools and have invested in enhanced security measures.
