Provide students with learning experiences to support their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth, and help them develop skills for success in society. Contribute to the mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas certificate for the subject and level assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the subject(s) assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage behavior
Openness to change and innovation
Experience
At least one-year student teaching or approved internship.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Guide student learning aligned with district philosophy and curriculum.
- Present subject matter according to TEA, district policies, and curriculum guidelines.
- Conduct assessments and use results to plan instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to modify curricula for diverse learners.
- Use technology effectively in teaching.
- Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Manage classroom environment and student behavior.
- Maintain records and adhere to policies.
- Engage in professional development and teamwork.
- Participate in safety drills and school activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
