Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking an Intervention Teacher to provide Reading/ELA and Math support in Palm Beach County, FL. This part-time role fits 10-25 hours per week across two school sites, with the pay rate of $30 per hour.

You will deliver targeted instruction in small groups, utilize our curriculum, and maintain student records. Collaborative meetings with parents and staff are expected, along with data-driven progress tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher required.
  • FL teaching certificate/eligibility in Elementary Ed/English/Reading.
  • Experience in reading/math intervention and tutoring.
  • Ability to teach multiple grade levels and use data to drive instruction.
  • Willingness to teach Math and Reading/ELA.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups in a face-to-face school setting focusing on intervention.
  • Deliver instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing using company materials.
  • Develop individualized lesson plans using curriculum and data.
  • Supervise students and ensure safe transitions between activities.
  • Enter attendance, testing data, progress reports, and communications in systems.
  • Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
  • Maintain student forms and records per regulations.
  • Communicate with supervisors, teachers, and parents.
  • Differentiate instruction and track progress; engage students and foster ownership.

Math and Reading Intervention Teacher

Part-Time | Palm Beach County, FL

Program Details:
  • Positions are for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Part-time (10-25 hours per week)
  • Pay is $30 per hour
Position 1:
  • 10 hours per week
  • Traditionally an afternoon/after-school schedule
  • Services 2 schools within 2 miles of each other in the western portion of Jupiter (zip code 33458)
  • One school is Kindergarten and the other is grades 2-8
Position 2:
  • 15 hours per week
  • 3 days per week during regular school hours
  • Services 1 school in the western portion of West Palm Beach (zip code 33411)
  • Grades K-12

Responsibilities

As an Intervention Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will:

  • Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
  • Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
  • Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
  • Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
  • Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
  • Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
  • Differentiate instruction: customize and deliver lessons and use data to meet student needs; engage students: foster ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines; grow professionally: embrace training, coaching, and feedback; track progress: maintain accurate student and academic records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility in Elementary Education, English, Pre-K/Primary, or Reading
  • Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience
  • Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels
  • Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication
