Job summary

El Proyecto del Barrio is seeking a part-time Associate Teacher to support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through age-appropriate activities. You will plan, develop, and implement program goals while collaborating with teaching staff to monitor progress.

The role requires 12 college units in ECE/Child Development, at least one course in child/family relations, and 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Completed 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, including courses in child, family, community, and child/family relations.
• 1 year of related experience.
• CDAT permit or in the process of obtaining it.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Vaccinations proof required by funding sources.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing learning environment to develop social, motor, language, and cognitive skills.
• Assist with lesson plans based on children’s needs and interests.

This is part-time Associate Teacher position.Expected work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm.JOB SUMMARYThis position will serve as a classroom teacher to facilitate each child’s growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development with age-appropriate activities.
