Job Snapshot: To teach by implementing a flexible program and creating an environment favorable to learning and personalgrowth by:
(1) encouraging students to develop skills, attitudes, and the knowledge needed to obtain a good foundationfor continuous growth and development;
(2) providing students with experiences which integrate the effective, cognitive, and psychomotordimensions of learning;
(3) establishing effective rapport with students and their parents; and
(4) assisting students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Conditions of Employment: Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee's Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District's expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.
