Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. Candidates must be in possession of a valid California Teaching Credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing in one of the following: A Single Subject Credential or a Multiple Subject Credential, or a Standard Secondary Credential with a major or minor in an academic subject area, or a General Secondary Credential.
