Teacher, High Five - Bilingual Spanish - Las Estrellas (2025-2026)
SUMMARY
Establishes developmentally appropriate instructional and behavioral expectations for students and communicates expectations to students and their families. Creates lessons and learning environments that are safe, respectful, and interesting as well as multicultural/gender/ability fair. Selects, adapts and individualizes materials appropriate for diverse student populations and skills. Uses a variety of teaching strategies such as group work, lecture, mini lessons, exploration, questioning, discussion, and other cooperative teaching techniques. Develops and maintains long range and daily instructional plans. Teaches students the required curricula using strategies that foster thinking, reasoning, and problem solving. Promotes problem solving, cooperative skills and conflict resolution strategies. Creates an inclusive welcoming classroom for early childhoodstudents.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A valid Minnesota teaching license in Early Childhood; or proof of pending approved licensure
This position has a language requirement. Candidate selected for this role will be required to provide a passing proficient score on the ACTFL language assessment.
