Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Emergent Bilingual Support Teacher to support students who are developng proficiency in English. The ideal candidate will provide targeted instruction and collaborate with classroom teachers.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct instructional support to emergent bilingual (English learner) students
• Develop and implement lesson plans assigned with curriculum and language development goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success
• Monitor and assess student progress in language acquisition
• Adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Communicate effectively with families and staff
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation
• LAS testing
• LPAC committee chair

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid teaching certification (ESL/Bilingual certification preferred or required)
• Experience working with English learners or diverse student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
