Job description

Teacher – Child Development Center, Pre-school through 5th grade

Under general supervision, provide developmental care and supervision to children enrolled in the Child Development Center; implement age appropriate curriculum for children; establish and maintain supportive relationships with children and parents; and perform related work as required.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and with the team
• Provide a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Create and implement hands-on lessons and activities
• Monitor and document students’ activities, progress, and behaviors

Requirements:

• 12 ECE units required or Associate Teachers Permit required
• Pediatric CPR certification required
• Related childcare/teacher experience preferred

Compensation: $24 - $24.50 per hour

Location: Garfield Elementary School in San Leandro - In person

Duration: 11 months
