The Teacher in the Blessings Children’s Learning Center is responsible for planning and running daily learning and child care activities. In this role, you help create a safe, caring, and fun space where children can learn and grow. You will teach lessons, support children’s social and emotional development, and help them build skills they need for school. What You'll Do

• Keep children safe at all times, and directly supervise them throughout the day.
• Plan and lead daily learning activities that help children get ready for school.
• Use the center’s approved curriculum to help children grow in areas like social skills, language, reading, thinking skills, and physical development.
• Create a daily schedule that gives children structure and routine.
• Join staff meetings to talk about program improvements, lesson plans, child behavior, and family involvement.
• Use simple technology tools to keep records, track children’s progress, and complete reports as needed.
• Work with families and outside agencies if a child may need extra support.
• Help with basic care, including hygiene, meals, and snacks.
• Work as part of a team with other teachers and staff to support learning and a positive center culture.
