Job Summary

Napa Valley Language Academy has a 1.0 FTE position for the 2025-2026 school year, requiring a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish (formerly known as BCLAD).

Requirements / Qualifications
  1. Candidates must hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects (Spanish).
  2. Expected to teach according to the developed curriculum, incorporate engagement strategies, and attend professional development.
  3. Familiarity with highly structured cooperative learning, technology integration, and Project Based Learning is preferred.
  4. Must be dedicated to professional growth and collaboration to foster a student-centered environment.
  5. Willingness to work with parent volunteers and maintain excellent communication within the school community.
  6. Must hold an English Learner Authorization (ELA) or be eligible for an Emergency ELA permit while working towards earning one.
  7. Required documents: Credential Copy, Letter of Introduction, three Letters of Recommendation, Resume.
