Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to join our California team. You will lead, coach, and mentor teachers, implementing our curriculum in a way that respects each child's needs and maintains a safe, nurturing learning environment.

You will collaborate with families and center staff to foster enrollment, accreditation, and engagement while delivering high-quality early childhood education. CPR/First Aid trained preferred; CDA required or candidacy; 2–3 years ECE experience.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading, writing and speaking to communicate with children and parents.

When you join our team as a Teacher you will:

• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtainPhysically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $13.35 - $28.00 Hourly
