KINDERCARE LEARNING COMPANIES in California is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor fellow staff while implementing our curriculum in a way that respects each child's unique needs.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment, connect with families, support center enrollment and accreditation goals, and collaborate with staff and leadership to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

When you join our team as a Teacher you will:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtainPhysically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $13.35 - $28.00 Hourly
