Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to support early learners by leading and mentoring staff, implementing curriculum, and creating a safe, engaging classroom. You will partner with families to provide high-quality care and education.

The role requires a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years of ECE experience, and a preferred Bachelor’s degree. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is expected, plus the ability to lift 40 pounds and communicate in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
  • Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with the needs of each child
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education
  • Support center’s success; work with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners

Required Skills and Experience
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
  • Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
  • Approved state trainer (preferred)
  • 2–3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtainPhysically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
