Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead and mentor in our early childhood classrooms. You will implement our curriculum, create a safe, nurturing environment, and connect with families to support each child’s growth.

You will collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals while building relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners.

Qualifications

• Customer service and organizational skills are essential.
• Active CDA Credential or meeting NAEYC candidacy is required.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and state trainer credentials.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

• Implement KinderCare's curriculum; tailor to each child’s needs.

Required Skills and Experience

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtainPhysically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
