Job summary

KinderCare in Oregon is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor less experienced colleagues while delivering high-quality early childhood education. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom that respects each child's unique needs and support families through strong communication.

This role emphasizes collaboration with center staff and leadership to drive enrollment, accreditation, and family engagement, while upholding KinderCare's curriculum and safeguarding children's well-being.

Qualifications

• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents
