About This Role

The Teacher Assistant (TA) will prepare instructional materials for activities for children or provide homework support for children, ages 3-12 years, enrolled in the aftercare program; hours 2:30 - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. The TA Substitute will assist the Teacher in the classroom when a TA is absent as needed. Possible hours 8:30 a.m. – 3:35 p.m., 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 12 p.m. – 3:35 p.m.

What You’ll Do

Both TA and Substitute positions include supervising children to ensure their welfare, health and safety and assisting with snacks. Depending on the needs of the classroom, responsibilities may include preparing instructional materials for lessons, and assisting with breakfast, lunch and snack.
