POSITION FUNCTION/PURPOSE
Provides instructional assistance to students under the supervision of a certified teacher; assists in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities. Provides support facilitation in the general education classroom to support IEP implementation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*NOTE: A teacher assistant in special education is subject to reassignment during the year because of student population shifts, therefore, these may be additional responsibilities.
