A high school diploma or GED is REQUIRED. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Knowledge of educational, child development and classroom teaching/management theories with a good understanding of educational and therapeutic interventions is preferred. It is required to possess a valid Illinois driver’s license with no suspensions or tickets for major traffic violations for at least three years.
I.S.B.E. Paraprofessional certificate and I.S.B.E. Substitute Teacher Certificate is required.
