As a Teacher Assistant, you will work with dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. The Mapleton School in Malvern, PA, is seeking Teacher Assistants to provide direct behavioral intervention to students. We offer a supportive, educational, and clinically focused environment.

* All Teacher Assistant positions are 52-week positions *

Every day as a Teacher Assistant, you will...

1. Ensure student safety
2. Assist in establishing a classroom environment conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors
3. Work with Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs, both individually and in small groups
4. Perform ongoing data collection and record keeping as directed by the Special Education Teacher

You will be offered:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm [52-week position]

• Compensation: $41,600 - $47,424 annually (based on experience)

The Mapleton School in Malvern, PA, offers an educational curriculum to children across all grade levels. A multi-sensory educational strategy is employed, including traditional instruction, hands-on and independent learning, and technology, to tailor each student’s progress, especially in math and reading. The focus is also on transition skills from school to career, with individualized educational plans (IEPs) to guide skill development and strategies for success.
