Teacher Assistant (TA) – May Center School, Mansfield, MA

Make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents (ages 3–21) with Autism and developmental disabilities! As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll provide direct classroom support, implement intervention strategies, and help students build critical skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Your Impact:
  1. Support lead teachers in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  2. Assist students with personal care and behavioral interventions.
  3. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  4. Use ABA strategies to promote communication, social skills, and independence.
  5. Document student progress and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team.
What You Need:
  1. Age: 18+
  2. Education: High School Diploma or GED
  3. License: Valid U.S. driver’s license
  4. Availability: Full-time (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM, some flexibility); year-round program
  5. Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, reliability, compassion, and adaptability
