Academy for Young Minds (AYM), powered by Gersh, is seeking an experienced Assistant Teacher to join our team in one of our state-of- the-art classrooms in Long Island City, Queens. AYM is a private school for learners on the Autism Spectrum, ages 5-15 in classroom settings of 6-10 students. This is a full-time, 12-month school calendar position.
Under the supervision of the Head Teacher and the BCBA-D, the Assistant Teacher will provide instruction to students and help implement individualized curricular activities for each student. This individual will also support student learning through data collection on programs and progress toward goals.
Preferred: New York State Teaching Assistant (TA) Certification
