Qualifications for Infant Teacher Assistant:

  • Must meet all state preschool teacher assistant requirements
  • Flexible and willing to work during business hours
  • Previous experience as a teacher assistant or in licensed daycare preferred

  • Support the philosophy of Cadence Education and work collaboratively with the teaching team to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Document and communicate children's milestones to parents.
  • Implement an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Respect and observe children's interests and intervene to ensure safety.
  • Enhance play with language, toys, and activities.
  • Model and encourage socially appropriate behavior and expectations.
  • Participate in planning a balanced daily schedule with activities that include quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor skills.
