The Alpine School District is seeking a part-time Teacher Assistant Level II at American Fork High School. This ESP position is non-contract, with 29 hours per week and an hourly rate of $18.74.

Responsibilities include supporting instructional staff, assisting in classrooms, monitoring student behavior, and performing clerical duties as assigned. Applicants should have an Associate degree or 60 quarter hours (48 semester hours) or have passed the ParaPro Praxis exam, plus a high school diploma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or 60 quarter hours/48 semester hours or completion of specified coursework.
• ParaPro Praxis exam or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Adapt activities under supervision to support classroom objectives.
• Assist with assignments, tests and make-up work for students.
• Monitor student behavior and document observations for records.
• Support teachers in preparing instructional materials and lessons.
• Escort and supervise students to ensure safe classroom environments.
