Position: Teacher Assistant

The Franklin Head Start Center is looking for a Teacher Assistant to carry out classroom activities and the program as prescribed by the Lead Teacher. Assume responsibility for program activities when the Lead Teacher is absent.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum of Child Development Associate or Associate’s degree in early childhood or ability to obtain a CDA within 2 years.
2. One year of experience working with preschool children.
3. NYS driver’s license required.

40 hours per week. Salary range: $17.12-$18.41 per hour, based on credentials.

$250 sign on bonus after one month of employment. Applications process ongoing until filled.
