We’re looking for a caring and energetic Pre-K/Infant Teacher Assistant-Floater to support classroom instruction, foster positive child development, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment. As a Teacher Assistant-Floater you’ll have the opportunity to provide support across various sites based on operational needs, implementing curriculum, supervising children, and fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. This full-time position assists with assessments, parent engagement, and school readiness activities to help children thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily classroom activities and child supervision
  • Support curriculum implementation aligned with NAEYC and Head Start standards
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
  • Conduct developmental screenings and maintain child progress records
  • Engage with parents to support family and community involvement
  • Participate in professional development and team collaboration

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or Preschool CDA or Infant/Toddler CDA or endorsement or ability to obtain an CDA within 10 months of employment
  • Experience in a preschool setting or working with young children.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Basic computer skills to facilitate communication within the agency
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to the mission of supporting children, families and communities
