Greater East Texas Community Action (GETCAP) in ColdSpring, TX, seeks a floating substitute to assist in classrooms, stepping in for regular staff as needed. This part-time role supports everyday operations and fosters a safe, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include promoting health, safety, communication, creativity, independence, and respect among children and adults, with a focus on positive relationships and developmental growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Provide an environment in which children can learn and practice behaviors which are appropriate and acceptable individually and in a group

Job Position Description

Assisting in all aspects of classroom operation in place of/ or in addition to regular teaching staff as a floating substitute and coordinating the use of substitute teaching staff for classrooms.

Salary Range

Hourly $14.59
