Felton Institute in San Francisco seeks a Teacher Assistant Float to support infants, toddlers and preschoolers within Felton's ECE programs. You will assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and helping lead teachers adapt instruction to individual needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Assistant Permit or eligible.
• Ability to pass physical exam and TB screening.
• Background clearance and safety trainings as required.
• Ability to lift 25-40 lbs and move/stoop as needed.
• English proficiency for communication with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized activity plans for children with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with team to create a comprehensive ECE program.
• Greet families professionally and share child progress.
• Provide small group and individualized instruction.
• Maintain development records and attend meetings.
• Ensure safety and supervise children at all times.
• Support meal prep and classroom duties as needed.
