Description: Teacher Assistant (Exceptional Education Pre-K). 190-day position. Salary: $21,874 base salary (based on education and teacherassistant experience). Location: J.L.Cain Elementary School. Available: 2026-2027 School Year

*A negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications:

• Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hoursfrom an accredited institution of higher education
• or An associate degree (or higher)
• OR Item (1) High School Diplomaor the equivalent
• AND Item (2) Ready to Work Credentials
• * WIN - Copy of WIN Assessment minimum of Level 3 certification
• * ParaPro - Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro, the state approvedacademic assessment

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records
