Knowledge of the techniques and procedures used in working with targeted student population.

Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents. Ability to relate to, inspire confidence and foster self-esteem in students. • 2. Meet the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act:
  1. a. Two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education; or
  2. b. Associate's or higher degree; or
  3. c. Knowledge and ability to assist in instruction in core subjects as verified by a rigorous state or local assessment.
• 3. Completion of teacher aide course, or 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination preferred.
• 4. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.

Salary Information

Support Personnel. Pay Grade 6. One hundred eighty-six days worked per year (10 months). FLSA Non-Exempt.
