Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or higher and valid NC driver’s license.
• Associate degree or 48 college hours or Work Keys required.
• Willing to obtain bus driver license with school bus endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher(s) with instruction and evaluating effectiveness.
• Constantly monitor safety and well-being of students.
• Encourage self-esteem and student independence.
• Maintain classroom discipline and record attendance.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support as needed.
• Assist with testing and scoring as directed.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain records.
• Operate audiovisual equipment and perform clerical duties.
