Qualifications

• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol testing; no prior DWI offense.

Responsibilities

• Supports the teacher with instruction and meeting student needs.
• Provides one-on-one academic and behavioral support; may lead small groups.
• Obtains/stays current on basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Monitors safety and student well-being; encourages independence and self-esteem.
• Maintains records documenting student progress; assists with daily living skills as needed.
• Assists with medication administration under school nurse supervision; supports special needs.
