Job summary

BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES is seeking a Teacher Assistant (Autism) for a 10-month, non-certificated role at Washington @ Emerson for the 2026-2027 school year. • Experienced computer/clerical skills – highly preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with Autism– preferred.
• Willing and able to complete Crisis Management training.
• New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.

• Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting. Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance.
• Experienced computer/clerical skills – highly preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with Autism– preferred.
• Willing and able to complete Crisis Management training.
• New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.
