Hermitage Hall, a UHS company, is seeking a Teacher Assistant to join our Nashville team. You will assist teachers in supervising and instructing students, perform classroom clerical tasks, and help students with health-care needs to develop daily living and behavioral skills.

Under supervision, you will help implement IEPs, provide behavior support, and maintain student records while assisting with lesson plans.

Competenze

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Paraprofessional Licensure/Certificate preferred but not required.

The Teacher Assistant will assist assigned teachers in the supervision and instruction of students, performing classroom clerical tasks, and assisting students by meeting special health care needs and developing students’ daily living and behavioral skills.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the teacher, assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans


• Provide behavior support to the teacher.
