Job summary

CMCA in Hermitage, MO is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our Head Start team, supporting a loving classroom for children aged 0 to 5 across daily activities. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Teacher to establish a structured, engaging environment that nurtures health, education and welfare while promoting growth and safety.

Compensation starts at $15.10 per hour with 10-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Daycare, preschool, or childcare work experience is helpful.
• Prefer CDA or related Associate's degree

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher to create an engaging, structured classroom atmosphere for children aged 0 to 5.
• Support health, education and welfare of children and contribute to a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff to implement Head Start program activities.
