Teacher Assistant

Head Start Program
General Responsibilities: Developing and implementing a preschool curriculum for children in a center-based group setting, being knowledgeable about developmentally appropriate practices and Head Start Performance Standards, planning according to the individual needs of each child, completing education paperwork, conducting developmental assessments throughout the year, conducting daily observations of children, conducting home visits per the required Head Start Performance Standards. Applicants must be skilled in building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Qualifications: needed for this position: CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education. Position is available beginning August 2025.
