As a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Acelero Learning, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundational experiences of children ages 3 to 5 within our Head Start program. This position offers a unique opportunity to foster school readiness by delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will collaborate closely with an Preschool Teacher, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support the growth of each child—academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you will nurture responsive teacher-child relationships through the CLASS framework, cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment, and deliver age-appropriate, standards-aligned instruction. You will monitor developmental progress through ongoing assessments, tailor learning experiences to support the needs of all children, and actively engage families as collaborative partners in their child’s growth. You’ll also participate in continuous professional development and contribute to a team culture focused on reflection, learning, and improvement.
